USE HEADPHONES WHENEVER POSSIBLE
The videos here are my first attempts at writing music to film of any kind. Some videos were provided by the Sibelius notation software people to be used as a "challenge" to write music using Sibelius, some are from the British Film Institute (BFI) site. They have been a great personal joy to write and share.
PLEASE NOTE: Since the purpose of posting these videos is to garner comments on the soundtracks, I would, above all else, appreciate hearing from all and sundry in this regard.

The Clown and the Alchemist : 1900
I created a soundtrack called Metropolis , please take a moment to listen to it.ua-cam.com/video/XDRR1QoMyWE/v-deo.html
This, not the stock market crash, is why late-1920s people were jumping ut of windows.
They should show this movie in theaters again for the 100th anniversary
People were dreaming of eradicating human beings and replacing those human beings with humanoid robots for a long time. I personally believe this sci fi “avatar” push (by our ruling classes) is deliberately promoted to “normalize” genocide
Heh, a cartoon wolf voiced by Daws Butler doing his Phil Silvers impression... just like Hanna-Barbera's Hokey Wolf!
You mean transhumanism. 3:08
That turned into a Road Runner cartoon.
what this flim name ?
To think that Henry Ford was still making the model T car when this was made, makes the special effects so a head of its time
Sci-fi masterpiece...WOW!!!🎉❤😊
The fact that the special effects was used in this film back in 1927 is incredible and impressive. One of my favorite films of all time.
Some weird shit.
She looks so peaceful…
Great film but a bit too long at the end.
The "A-I" Santa Claus.
QUE MARIA... LA PRINCESSE LEIA EST VOTRE SOEUR LUKE NON C EST SON DOUBLE HELENA ET NON MARIA...
Have this been remade like Super Mario Rpg Yet?
First ever chirstmas movie ❤💚🎅
Incredible
Why is there a pentagram above the robot?
Dude looks like the professor from Back To The Future.
The movie was originally shot at 16 frames per second, but modern hollywood re-releases switched it to the standard 24 fps. This decision ruined the pacing of the music and scenes. Try switching your playback speed to .75 if you want to watch this as it was originally intended. I think it makes the scene more dramatic.
😊
💯💯
Had a crush on that robot as a very young kid! Her ( Robot) figure is amazing.
The music is too loud and wrong
It’s a good thing she had three days to guess ‘Rumpelstiltskin’s’ name. If she had only had three guesses, she would’ve had to give up their baby the first day.
This is the ONLY SciFi film I enjoyed watching in my entire life!!! The message in this film is clearly stated.
“Gotcha”; is the first word the puppeteer says when the toddler first penetrates; caught red handed.
1st;🤑.
wunderbar !
😊❤
Fun Fact: Pat Sullivan thought this cartoon was going to fail. Thinking this would be a one and done thing, he created the ending we know and “love” we have today.
Ach wie gut dass niemand weiss, dass ich Rumpelstilzchen heiss.
I miss these old cartoons. They were quite clever
Love those old cartoons ❤😊
Would look even more spectacular with a 4k colour makeover .
who else is here for class?
Classic cartoons
3:08 An autographed picture of Key Luke!! OMG! Am I the only one who recognizes the name?!!
I don't recognizes the name. What is the reference to?
93 years before I was born
OK he probably would have a son
Being a science geek it just makes so much sense can you imagine each circle of energy was either magnetism or frequency just imagine rejuvenation 🤔🤔🤔🤔
Your scoring is actually detracting from the work overall, which was designed for and originally presented with minimal background music; you’re also overpowering the original spoken dialogue; as such, your work is not coming off as well as it might, otherwise…
Rumpelforeskin 🤣
Thank you for the music, Mr. White!
Yo, Mr. White, your music da best!
マリア
Why add background bs??
Why ask stupid, useless questions? Let’s see your handiwork…
If the academy awards were at that time, this scene would get the Oscar for special effects.
I'm named AnnaBelle Lee white
Creo ,que Maria es algún personaje de una película futurista de ese tiempo 🤔 🤭la ciudad de cromo de Bob Esponja !!!!!🏢🏦🏣🏥🏗🧱
This is so freaking creepy
